The Deadline to sign up for the Partners of Moundview Memorial
Hospital's Parade of Trees is November 6th. Individuals,
community groups, businesses and everyone is encouraged to participate in
this event that brings the holiday spirit to the hospital concourse and
supports the Partners of Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinics. For more

- The Friendship Connection will be holding their Free Lunch Wednesdays from
noon to 2 PM at 117 S Main Street, Adams. Everyone is welcome, free will

Wednesday, October 14 - The Final Outdoor Hazel Street Farmers Market of the season will be held from 2-6 PM on Hazel Street in Downtown Adams. For sale are many different items including produce, hand made items, honey and more. If you are interested in being a vendor, call Joan at 608-339-3957. Thursday, October 15 - The workshop Healthy Living with Diabetes will be held at Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinics from 9-11:30 AM. This is a 6 week program. Suggested donation for class is $15 but it in not required to take the class. To register, call the ADRC at 1-877-883-5378.

Friendship Connection will be holding an AODA Support Group for individuals
living with addiction issues and/or mental illness. This will be held
starting at 1 PM at 117 S Main St, Adams. Everyone is welcome. For more

Thursday, October 15 - The Adams Community Theatre in partnership with the Adams County Library will be showing a Free Movie at 6:30 PM.

Saturday, October 17 - The Arkdale Trinity Lutheran Church Women will be holding a Gathering of Christian Women of Adams County from 9 AM to noon at the church (1650 Church St, Arkdale). Adams County Drug Free Task Force is holding a Drug Take Back Day from
10 AM to 2 PM at various locations across Adams County. The locations
include: Town of Big Flats Town Hall (1104 County Rd C, Arkdale), Town of
Rome Police Department (1156 Alpine, Nekoosa), City of Adams Municipal
Building (101 North Main St, Adams) and Town of Jackson Town Hall (398 State

Necedah National Wildlife Refuge will hold their Can you Capture it/Focus on
Photography Program from 10-11 AM . Free and open to the

Rabies Clinic will be held at the Adams City Hall (101 N
Main St, Adams) from 2-3 PM. Animals must be on a leash or in a crate. Rabies
shots only. Cost is $10 for dogs & cats that are 5 months old or older.

will be distributing food from 4:30-6 PM at Adams-Friendship Middle School.
The mobile food pantry is open to everyone! Please bring bags or boxes and
wagons or a wheeled cart to help carry food. Please do NOT arrive
before 3:30 PM so that we can safely dismiss students at the end of the
day.
Thursday, October 22 - A Blood Drive for the Blood Center of Wisconsin will be held from 11 AM to 4 PM at the Friendship Village Hall (507 W Lake St). The BloodCenter of Wisconsin is the only provider of blood to Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinics. To make an appointment call Tammy at 608-339-8328. Walk-ins are welcome. Adams County Humane Society will be holding their 7th Annual Italian Dinner and Raffle
from 4:30-6:30 PM at the A-F VFW Hall on Linden Street in Adams. The
Italian Dinner features lasagna (prepared by Bucky's Brick Oven Eatery),
salad, garlic bread, homemade desserts, coffee, ice tea and lemonade. Tickets
are $9 adults $4.50 children 12 and under. Also featured is a raffle
which offers a chance to win one of over 50 items that have been
donated by individuals and businesses in our area. There will also be a
50/50 drawing, grab bag, and ACHS apparel for sale. For more information go
