This week...

The Parade of Trees is currently underway at Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinics. Stop in and vote for your favorite tree with a penny war or purchase raffle tickets for your chance to win a tree. 

Wednesday, November 18 - The Hazel Street Winter Farmers Market will be held from 10 AM-2 PM at the Adams Community Center. For sale are many different items including produce, hand made items, honey and more. If you are interested in being a vendor, call Joan at 608-339-3957.

Wednesday, November 18 - The Friendship Connection will be holding their Free Lunch Wednesdays from noon to 2 PM at 117 S Main Street, Adams. Everyone is welcome, free will donations always appreciated. For more information call Deb at 608-339-6810.

Wednesday, November 18 - Second Harvest Food Bank will be distributing food from 4:30-6 PM at Adams-Friendship Middle School. The mobile food pantry is open to everyone! Please bring bags or boxes and wagons or a wheeled cart to help carry food.  Please do NOT arrive before 3:30 PM so that we can safely dismiss students at the end of the day. 

Thursday, November 19 - The Friendship Connection will be holding an AODA Support Group for individuals living with addiction issues and/or mental illness. This will be held starting at 1 PM at 117 S Main St, Adams. Everyone is welcome. For more information call Deb at 608-339-6810. 

Thursday, November 19 - The Adams Community Theatre in partnership with the Adams County Library will be showing a Free Movie at 6:30 PM.

Thursday, November 19 - A Childhood Lead Poisoning Presentation will be held from 6:30-7:30 PM at the Adams County Learning Center (1070 State Highway 13, Friendship). Free soup and sandwich will be provided. For more information contact Kristen Hansen at 608-564-1255. 

Thursday, November 19 - The Adams-Friendship VFW Post 6279's monthly meeting will be held at 7 PM at the post on Linden Street in Adams.

Friday, November 20 - United in Christ Lutheran Church in Dellwood'sSpaghetti Supper will be held from 4-7 PM, at the church, 1857 County Road Z.  All you can eat, hunters welcome. For more information call Kathy at 608-339-9658.

Saturday, November 21 - St. Joseph's Catholic Church Swiss Steak Deer Hunter's Dinner will be held from 4-7 PM at St. Joseph's Center (151 E State St, Adams). 

Saturday, November 21 - The Adams Community Theatre will present their free 3rd Saturday Classic Movie starting at 7 PM at the theater (157 S Main Street, Adams). 

Sunday, November 22 - Adams Community Theatre will present their monthly Play Reading Circle at 3 PM at the theatre (157 S Main Street, Adams). This month's selection is Marriage A-la-Mode.

Monday, November 23 - The Friendship Connection will hold a Wellness & Recovery Support Group starting at 11 AM at their location 117 S Main Street, Adams. This is a casual group led by volunteers. Everyone is welcome. For more information contact 608-339-6810.  

Monday, November 23 - The Grand Marsh Community Center (629 Mason Street, Grand Marsh) will be hosting a Fall Harvest Dinner from 4:30-7:30 PM.

Monday, November 23 - The Wisconsin Dells Kiwanis will meet at 5:30 PM at Chula Vista Resort. Interested persons are welcome to attend.

Monday, November 23 - Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinics Annual Association Meeting will be held at 6 PM at the Friendship Village Hall.   The hospital's operations and sustainability update will be shared as well as the election of the board of directors.  For more information call Tammy at 608-339-8328.

Thursday, November 26 - Move Your Feet Before You Eat! Join the Adams County Running/Walking Club's (ACRC) 5th Annual Family Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Morning at 8 AM rain, snow or shine, at Friendship Park for an informal, noncompetitive 3 mile walk/run through town. Bring your friends, family, kids, dogs and your canned good donation for the Adams Food Pantry. Enjoy hot chocolate, coffee and baked treats sponsored by ACRC members. Thursday, November 26 - Immanuel Lutheran Church will be serving a Thanksgiving Dinner from noon until 2 PM.

Saturday, November 28 - The Annual Home for the Holiday's Festival will be held in Adams-Friendship.  Visit with Santa at Niebull Schoolhouse from 1-4 PM. Home for the Holidays Parade at dusk and Friendship Tree Lighting. Santa, music & refreshments. Sponsored by Adams Co. Chamber of Commerce & Tourism, Adams-Friendship Student Council and Adams County Board of Supervisors.
