Adams County's Coats for Kids

Adams County's Coats for Kids has one mission: To provide Adams County kids with clean and warm outerwear.

Kids enjoy the out of doors during all seasons, but Wisconsin winters bring a special challenge -protection from cold and inclement weather. Whether at the bus stop, on the playground, or at play, kids need warm clothing to endure the cold.

Our community has shown outstanding support since Coats for Kids was started in 1998. We are again asking for your donation of new and gently used coats, snow pants, hats, waterproof gloves, mittens, boots, and scarves. Please label donations as "Coats for Kids" and drop off at Practical Cents during normal business hours.

We have again partnered with Operation Warm, Inc., a nonprofit company. Your cash donation will enable us to purchase warm, stylish coats in a variety of colors for as little as $11. Please send your donation to: Coats for Kids, P.O. Box 351, Friendship, WI 53934.

Coats for Kids appreciates our community's dedication and generosity toward keeping our children safe, warm and dry this winter.

For questions regarding Practical Cents donations, please contact Sherrie Manning or Becky Marti at 339-2249.
