This week...

The Partners of Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinics are holding a Pampered Chef Fundraiser. The Partners will receive 20% - 25% of all sales to help raise funds for hospital equipment and services. Pick up an order form at the Hospital Gift Shop or view the catalog and order online at: http://tinyurl.com/partnersmmhc. Online order must be completed by April 16th or drop off orders at the Hospital Gift Shop by April 17th.

Thursday, April 9 - The Adams Community Theatre will be showing a Free Movie at 6:30 PM. For more information contact the Adams County Library at 608-339-4250.

Friday, April 10 - Grand Marsh American Legion Post 273 Monthly Meeting will be held starting at 7 PM.

Saturday, April 11 - Kids' Day will be held at the Adams-Friendship High School from 10 AM to 2 PM. This is a free event for children and their families with activities geared toward toddlers to fifth grade. The Adams County Sheriff's Department K9 Unit will give a demonstration at 10:15 AM and musician David Landau will perform at 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM. For more information call 608-339-8328.

Saturday, April 11 -  The 10th Annual Prairie Chicken Festival will be held all month long as a celebration of the grasslands in Central Wisconsin. Sponsored by the Golden Sands Resource Conservation & Development Council. For a list of events go to  www.prairiechickenfestival.org

Monday, April 13 - The Friendship Connection will hold a Wellness & Recovery Support Group from 11 AM-12 PM at their location 252 S Main Street, Adams (entrance in the back). This is a casual group led by volunteers. Everyone is welcome. For more information contact

Wednesday, April 15 - An Assembly on the Dangers of Texting and Driving will be held at 9 AM at the Adams-Friendship High School. Amanda Umscheid will be speaking about how she has been personally affected by the risk of texting and driving. Amanda's 19-year-old sister died while texting her. Wednesday, April 15 - The Friendship Connection is serving up Free Lunch Wednesday  from noon to 2 PM at their location 252 S Main Street, Adams (entrance in the back). Bring a dish or dessert if you wish. Everyone is welcome.  For more information call Deb at 608-339-6810. 

Wednesday, April 15 - Second Harvest Food Bank will be distributing food from 4:30-6 PM at Adams-Friendship High School. The mobile food pantry is open to everyone! Please bring bags or boxes and wagons or a wheeled cart to help carry food.  Please do NOT arrive before 3:30 PM so that we can safely dismiss students at the end of the day. 

Thursday, April 16 - A Blood Drive for the BloodCenter of Wisconsin will be held at the Friendship Village Hall from 11 AM to 4 PM. All attempting donors will receive a pass for up to four people to Mt. Olympus Waterpark in Wisconsin Dells. Walk-ins welcome. Saturday, April 18 - The Adams Community Theatre will present their free 3rd Saturday Classic Movie starting at 7 PM at the theater (157 S Main Street, Adams).

Sunday, April 19 - Adams Community Theatre will present their monthly Play Reading Circle at 6 PM at the theatre (157 S Main Street, Adams). This month's feature is "12 Angry Men."
