A mobile food pantry truck from Feeding America is coming to Wisconsin Rapids
on Wednesday, May 11. Free food will be distributed to those in need in the
south parking lot of the United Methodist Church, 441 Garfield Street,
Wisconsin Rapids, from 1 pm to 4 pm.
Preregistration required: Go to http://www.theneighborhoodtable.org to select a time or call 715-422-2050 weekdays from 8:30 to 11:30 am to register. Please note the earliest time slot available at this time is 1:45 pm. Day of event, enter Maple Street parking lot only during your confirmed time slot. Do not come early. Those who come without being preregistered will be turned away and asked to return after 3:30 pm to pick up food if there is still some available.
Who can participate? Residents of south Wood County who use or qualify to use any food assistance program such as SNAP, WIC, Quest, free & reduced meals, etc. South Wood County for purpos! es of this mobile food pantry is defined as household addresses that are south of County Trunk C in Wood County.
What to bring? Proof of Wood County residency (recent utility bill or current driver’s license), your confirmation email and sturdy containers such as baskets, boxes, cloth bags, etc.
