Health Fair - Juneau County


Reserve your spot at the upcoming health fair hosted by Mile Bluff Medical Center on Thursday, December 10.  Receive free blood pressure and blood sugar testing, and learn what your risk factors are for developing heart disease and diabetes. In addition to these services, you will have the opportunity to receive a free hearing test; and cholesterol screenings will be available for a small fee. Appointments are required for all services, and are available from 7 to 11 am; hearing screenings are available from 8 to 11 am.  Call 608-847-1845 to reserve your spot today!

Friday. December 11 - A Special No School Matinee will be held at the Adams Community Theatre starting at 2 PM. The movie is free and bring a gently used winter outerwear item and receive free popcorn. Sponsored by Coats for Kids and the Adams County Library.

Friday, December 11 - Grand Marsh American Legion Post 273 Monthly Meeting will be held starting at 7 PM.

Saturday, December 12 - St. Joseph's Catholic Church's Homemade Bake Sale Treats & Treasures will be held at the St. Joseph's Center (151 E State St, Adams) from 8 AM to 4 PM. Christmas cookies, stollen and fruitcakes, pies, specialty breads, candy, holiday decorations, theme basket raffle and more. Light lunch available from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Monday, December 14 - The Wisconsin Dells Kiwanis Club will meet at 5:30 PM at Chula Vista Resort. The club meets every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month. Everyone welcome.

Parenting program available to those with children 12 months, younger


As a parent, questions continually come up about how to best raise your children.  To assist you during the first year of your baby’s life, Mile Bluff offers the Hand-in-Hand parenting program.  It is designed to help provide you with answers for dealing with some of the most common situations that arise during your child’s first 12 months of life.

The Hand-in-Hand program is held the second Monday of every month at 4:30 pm.  The next meeting will be Monday, December 14 and will focus on stress management.
